Establishing an Online Account. You can create an account with your first and last name and email address and set a password (“Login Credentials”). You may also provide your telephone number. We may use your email and phone to contact you about requested Services and products. You may also choose to log in via a social network or third-party platform (e.g., Facebook or Google). We may receive your alias, email, name, country, language preference, and profile picture, and use it as described here. Such collection is also subject to those platforms’ terms/policies.
Getting Insurance Estimates. If you request an insurance estimate, you will become a Member and may need to provide: age, gender, ZIP code, marital status, employment status, risk tolerance, living situation, property/vehicle ownership, family information (e.g., number of children/pets), homeowner/renter status, income, savings/debts, and general details about current insurance coverage (“Estimate Information”), as well as name, email, and phone (“Contact Information”). If done by phone, you will provide these to our representative. We use Estimate Information to assess current coverage and/or provide recommendations; we use Contact Information to contact you about products and Services.
Getting Quotes & Applying for Insurance. To get a quote and apply for a policy, you may need to provide additional information, such as date of birth, gender, occupation, Social Security Number, address, smoking status, height/weight, family medical history, health history, driving history, and citizenship status (together with Estimate Information, “Application Information”). “Account Information” includes your Login Credentials, Estimate Information, Contact Information, and Application Information.
Policy Information. If you apply for insurance, we may receive information from the carrier (e.g., application/policy status, payment info, claim info, or Application Information provided directly to the carrier). We use this to service your application/policy and provide requested Services and products.
Banking and Credit Card Information. If you submit a credit card payment through our Services, we do not store credit card information on our servers or associate it with your Account Information for any purpose other than completing your purchase.
Other Uses of Personal Information on our Sites and Services.
In addition to the above, we may use your personal information to:
Provide, improve, maintain, or optimize the Services;
Provide insurers with required application information;
Provide or offer other financial and consumer products and services from partners with whom we have a joint marketing agreement;
Provide, maintain, and improve customer service;

In the case of personal information we handle or receive on behalf of a customer in connection with their access to, and use of, our Platform (“Customer PI”), we have no direct relationship with the customer’s employees or other individuals with whom that customer may interact with respect to the Platform. If you are such an employee or individual and are seeking access to, or would like to correct, amend or delete, Customer PI, you should direct your query to the applicable customer. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe to a customer’s request to remove Customer PI.
